Drove ol' blacky to work today, and while getting my new parking pass the Transport NCO was keen to know how quick it was in the 1/4 mile. Seemed like a strange question in the moment. But, I guess it is pretty obvious I've raced it with half the Drag Week banner still on it... doesn't look too racecarish to me.

Then we took the wagon to pick up the girls... Natasha didn't like me fooling around with the C7 Vette I found.

I am post-whoring up this thread like mad today. Went back out to the garage and made a really simple modification to the bead roller (a finger to keep the deflection down)... and was rewarded with a nice .060" bead all around the pipe.

Just got to knock off a few sharp edges on the rollers... and then this tool can rot in my box with the rest until called upon.

changed the oil and battery in my cts wagon. That damn oil filter housing was a PITA...

I turned the wife's Subaru into a tow vehicle lol class 3 and a plug and play wire harness I'm going to tow my little snow bear trailer to Pittsburgh with it this weekend to get some parts for the square body crew sorry no pictures it's raining and I'm tired.

did a little more work on the truck. bought rubber matt from theisens and installed it in the front half of the truck.still have to finish the back half of the cab.View attachment 95232

Looks pretty nice. Wonder why the factories don't offer this in normal pickups as an option like they do for police packages.

I picked the truck up from the shops yard on wed night and moved it 200 feet to my yard LOL. Going in to see him this morning to see if he prefers an arm, leg, first born or all 3 ?? Got sucked into the "might as well" pit replacing a couple more parts whilst he was in there so I know the price has gone thru the roof !! Quick tip kids ! paying someone to work on your junk is expensive. I seem to argue this point with myself every few years and rarely do I win the discussion
