What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2019]

Couple of weekends ago, I reverted back to my lawn tractor addiction, an bought a couple from an estate auction, not knowing if they even ran or not... apparently they were in a garage or shed that had collapsed, and have some minor damage.... my buddy bought the third one they had, and was in good shape. Mine is on the rear of his trailer, and the back of my truck.... the red one fired up once we put a battery in it, and my buddy may be buying that off me... the grey one had fired up when I got it home, but wouldn’t move on it’s own power, until I noticed the trans bypass lever on it tonight:doh: ... went ahead and ordered the parts that are damaged, and I’ll still be in the black if I decide to sell it!

Got a flat on the CVPI today. Made me appreciate the full size spare. Definitely going to add a full size spare on my to do list for the Regal.

Made me appreciate the full size spare. Definitely going to add a full size spare on my to do list for the Regal.

Watch your sizing if you plan on keeping it in the original spot in the trunk. I had a 15” full size in the GP ( can’t remember what the specific size), and it was actually up against the trunk lid.

I have 15 inch turbine rims on my Regal, so I doubt a matching full size will fit in the spare wheel well in the trunk. Panther cars like the Crown Vic don't have a spare wheel well. The spare is just lose on the trunk shelf behind the rear seats. The full size spare is a tight fit even there for a Panther. Later CVPIs like mine use 17 inch rims. Then again, in an emergency a full size spare won't cripple your car like a mini spare would.

Got the Dentist's supercharger fired last night, and helped the neighbor tile a bathroom today. Had 2 to do, visions of granduer having both laid at the end of the day, but only got 1 set. Funny how things seem so easy until you start...

Thanks! It's nice to have her naughty bits covered up! 🤣 On to the mechanical/electrical tasks. BTW the previous owner made that mess on the firewallView attachment 106093View attachment 106096View attachment 106097

That's the same shifter the P.O. "installed" in my wagon. H had it bolted only to the stock sheetmetal floor with only two bolts. It flopped around like a four-speed and the hard linkage interfered with the speedometer cable so that was disconnected. I also didn't like not having a provision for a neutral safety switch. I switched it out for a similar style B&M that addresses all those issues and uses a cable instead.

SUPER nice work on that sheetmetal interior.,

FInally got some shop time to get back on the Cop Vic.

Got the non-oil cooler oil filter adapter mount installed along with the new power steering pump and new pressure and return lines, all new radiator hoses installed, new serpentine belt and new tensioner, new wiper blades, replaced the burnt out bulbs in the third brake light, installed the full sized spare, dumped in the antifreeze and fired it up for the first time since I brought it home a month ago.

Surprisingly...... no leaks. 👍
