What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2019]

Haven’t been up to too much lately, progress on Olds Cool has slowed to a virtually nonexistent crawl due to the warmer temperatures and life in general.

I’ve been working on a deal to acquire a center console that’s in better condition than mine, I did some modifications to a couple of motorcycles for my neighbor for $100 cash, which I’m then gonna parlay over into buying the console.

In the meantime however, I hit one of the bigger local shows around here yesterday in Three Hills Alberta.
Couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather, the car count was excellent even if most of them were mediocre at best. I did snap a couple of pictures of some of the G’s in attendance for y’all tho, any of them members here??

The 442 had a Ram Jet in it and the Monte SS had 17” N90’s on it, both of which I thought was pretty cool IMHO.

But the real stars of the show as far as I was concerned were this gorgeous and rare ‘55 Chevy Cameo fleetside...

...as well as this stunning ‘67 Chevy II. This car is right up my alley, the details in person were perfect. I would’ve given my left nut for this car.

Walking around the vendors after we had seen everything, I spotted this guy, and simply had to have it as an addition to the Rktpwrd Skunkworks man cave:

All in all, it was a great day and a nice excuse to get out of the city for a while. Maybe next year, Olds Cool will actually be painted and done enough to be presentable to take to the show.
Here’s hoping.

Next year we should crash that party. 👍

Oh God yeah. Wasn't not.the prettiest weld for certain. Only needs to last three weeks and then it's being scrapped.... Welding rust sucks
