Oh God yeah. Wasn't not.the prettiest weld for certain. Only needs to last three weeks and then it's being scrapped.... Welding rust sucks
If you can heat it up with a rosebud on a torch before welding it. It will weld better than just wirebrushing it. Burns the rust out. I would have probably brazed that though.

It was free I don't even know what kind it is but it's pretty clean underneath

I slid out of the office early yesterday and was planning to work on the GP. When I was at the parts store to pick up some hardware I noticed the smell of gas. I popped the hood of the Jeep and noticed 2 injectors were spraying gas at the top. Lucky for me the parts store had the O rings in stock so I had the Jeep towed and spent my time changing O rings. The last guy didn't install the injectors properly and pinched the 2 O rings on the top of the injectors

Put on different rims.

My newly acquired Cub Cadet had a leaky valve cover gasket which I discovered is a common issue on the Kohler engine. Snagged one at a place by work, and knocked it out when I got home. I put a bead of RTV on both sides so hopefully it'll hold longer and not drip hot oil onto the muffler.View attachment 114041View attachment 114042
Make sure that the top cover bolts under the flywheel are tight. Kohler Courage engines had an issue with those bolts coming loose and hitting the flywheel, which would crack the block and ruin the engine.
