I see that home schooling is working great in your home.....auto shop.... 😊

The funny thing is I don't remember my Dad taking the time to do this with me as a child (definitely more in my teen years). It could have been a function of how he was raised, or my level of interest, or family resources, or a combination of factors and variables. Regardless, yes - my kids are going to get one helluva education.

Looks like it is really hot. It's pushing 300! 🤣

So being that I had a couple scheduled days off this week, the wifey and I made it a point to tackle our landscaping out front. The first pic is when we moved in. Last year we pulled a couple bushes and had every intention of getting it done, but life got in the way and it didn't happen. So yesterday and today we devoted to cleaning up all the weeds, figured up a layout, then literally dug in and got it done! A couple rolls of weed mat, 20 bags of mulch, some new bushes and flowers, a sun burnt back, and some sore bodies later and we're done with phase 1.
We have to still tackle the sides and back of the house, but taking it one at a time....View attachment 140565View attachment 140566View attachment 140567View attachment 140568View attachment 140569View attachment 140570
That's a beautiful brick home, and nice garden transformation too. Looks like you kept the rhododendron. Was one of the removal "bushes" a Japanese maple tree? Japanese Maple's are expensive out here in the Pacific Northwest.

Thanks for the compliments man! Not sure on the japanese maple tbh, it was already dead when we bought the house so we knew it had to go.
Are they not common in the PNW?? Obviously different climate than the hot muggy Ohio Valley here.

It was a little bit difficult to tell if that was a Japanese Maple or not, hence the question mark. It seemed to have a reddish tint to it's color, so that was why I asked. Our NW climate is very good for Japanese Maple and many people plant them for their Spring and Autumn color.

She's not my type but I still like her boobies.
As a boob man, I do still like them.... and can't believe I am going to say it. But they may be too much, not that I wouldn't be willing to put my life on the line to motorboat. But still might be too much
