Having established the yukon was missing significant oil due to mystery issues, and, obsessing earlier last night, I decided to take an off day and deal with it tomorrow.

Pulled the fuel tank from my Pinto, changed the rear brake flex hose, bled the brakes, then worked on accessory items. I mocked up the position for the oil cooler, then repositioned the ignition coil and the vacuum thingy to make a mounting place for the remote oil filter.

The cooler will mount vertically in front of the radiator.

The weather turned cooler-ish this evening, so I was able to get several Technomancy projects done that I had on the back burner. Got an 80's Montgomery Ward lawn tractor with an 18hp opposed twin Briggs motor running again and mowed a little section of yard with it. The idle circuit still has a few issues and it needs a deck tensioner spring replaced but it sure beats it taking up space in my garage. I keep toying with the idea of doing a full repaint on this one, but it doesn't really look too bad as it is.

I also drug up an old boat trailer that was given to me by the neighbor and started to get it stripped down to be converted over to a motorcycle hauler. I got new larger tires put on it and stripped all the hand winch crap off of the tongue. While stripping all of the extra brackets off, I found that it is actually a tilt trailer. While probably not life changing for what will be a motorcycle trailer, it is still pretty cool. It currently has a crappy wood deck that needs stripped off but will have to wait until after I get to the metal store for some expanded metal and tubing.
