What did you do to your shop today?

Been working on this for a week now. Plus electrical work and led lights. Used a trans cooler and fan i had. Still have to add several more filters. Getting serious about painting. View attachment 196370View attachment 196369

Thanks. New compressor wasn't exactly cheap but necessary. The little 30 gallon was not up to the job. Led lighting I'll show later but had the lights for years and should have been done long ago.
I did a similar setup years ago using a a/c condenser and it worked great up until the cooler stopped up. It caused the compressor to blow a gasket. I live where the humidity is high so it is a lot of moisture which eventually got the condenser. Just something to keep an eye on.

After musing over going out that way every year for years, this was a last minute decision on the trip. We went on day 3 but the last real day as many guys were packing up by 2 or 3pm and booking out of there. Helped drive prices down, but of course you miss out on a couple days of deals.

There was a NOS 81-88 cutlass hood I didn't buy... figured it'd get banged up in the back of the yukon and hadn't brought a trailer.

The red box has a decent organizer in the top:

Three Lung/Barrel set up looks to be similar to what i bought for my own shop. Mine is a D-V. The third cylinder on mine is actually stage two for the compression event in that it takes the air inhaled by the other two lungs and does the compressing prior to sending it to the tank. Supposed to mean faster refill and better cfm for paint.

Picked up my T tank of argon... and had an installer come by to review installing the lift.

I might be up off the ground again in a few weeks.
