Pooped in it. Such a privilege to have a functional washroom a few feet away when that PCD hits you hard in the late morning.
Hope you broke it in right!Pooped in it. Such a privilege to have a functional washroom a few feet away when that PCD hits you hard in the late morning.
Just picked this up at Lowes. They were the cheapest price by almost $100, then I got another 10% off for being a veteran. I used credit card points for a Lowes gift card. Walked out the door for $214 This will replace the current fuel oil forced air mobile home furnace I have. I know the heat exchanger is cracked in it. Plus it will free up floor and wall space which I desperately need. Figure now is the time, instead of winter when it's cold and I'm trying to do it...

Well, this is oversized. I've been back and forth over this and the 50k btu unit. What tipped the scales was the recovery time. Many times if I'm headed to the garage to work, I want to turn it on and have the garage warm in 15 minutes. Or at least workable. After reading reviews on the 50k, doing the heat calculation, the 50k is just a tick small, by less than 10%. But. Being there is an 18' garage door i open in the dead of winter, to get the snowblower, vehicle, or ATV with the plow out, all the heat disappears instantly. Recovery time on 50k would literally be hours. That and the the current furnace and previous were both 75k btu and worked great in that regard. They were both fuel oil forced air units. I ran them off diesel with used motor oil mixed in to save some $$$. I can get 100lb LP tanks filled during the summer for $55. I have three leftover from our old house and a hunting camp. Hoping to use one per month. Guess we'll find out.Damn, how big an area do you have to heat? After doing A/C I've also had heat on the brain. It's super easy to keep a cool garage cool, same ought to be true for heating it though there will be a slightly bigger delta.
Looks like it should keep you warm and toasty!Just picked this up at Lowes. They were the cheapest price by almost $100, then I got another 10% off for being a veteran.
