Lots ways to put a hole in the wall. Some more creative than others 🤣
And I'm sure we can oblige....
I vote shotguns and handguns. Shoot a hole out while you still can before they're banned in favor of tacky socks.
Too late. They have Tee shirt guns, maybe a tacky socks gun??
The absence of a hole is actually Part B. Part A would be to remove the A/C from its current location, return that hole to its original size and re-install the window that used to be there, and migrate the A/C out to the shop.
The whole thing about the hole is that A/C is a luxury for me simply because, even on the hottest days, the floor is concrete and stays cool until the evening. Get comfortable enough and you can have a decent nap attack, or check your eyelids out for pin holes while loitering under one of the rides. They're all resting on jack stands or stacked flats so no wobblies to worry about.

For every excuse we can get more creative.
If you're afraid of noise, let the neighbors join in the shooting. No more complaints.
If you're afraid of projectiles hitting neighbors house, shoot inwards from outside.
If you're afraid of hitting your stuff, move it out of the way first.
If you're afraid of rough edges, work down in caliber like sandpaper grit. By the time you go to .22 and .177 you're making a fairly smooth edge you can backfill the gap between that and your new casing with foam insulation.
Wood shrapnel is mulch.
Problems solved.
Got some pallet racking installed. Found a warehouse selling it off. 20 ft long, 24" deep and 8' high. Got all the racking and wire mesh shelving for $350 CAD. Should make a nice landing spot for all sorts of junk. Really trying to up my organization game in the new garage - it's not going all that well so far. Mostly because I've got stuff spread out between the house garage and the new one. Not wanting to fill up the new garage with too much crap prior to the final inspection. So there's a bunch of small stuff that currently has no home because I don't want to take it back to the house garage knowing it'll just have to come back. And frankly, my organization skills are lacking. Actually, it's more my laziness. Finish a job, tired and too lazy to put everything back in its place. So it sits there. New job starts, grab some stuff from where I left it, gets moved to a new location and then I've got crap spread out all over.
But in the same vein, I also had the final inspection last week. Everything passed and I'm good to go. Now I can finally move all my other crap over here and try to get organized. Though that will take some time.
Also finally got around to applying the concrete densifier/hardener. I should have done it right away, but it was getting too cold to do it so that had to wait. I guess I over applied in a few spots where it left some white residue. Nothing bad, just cosmetic. Also have a whole bunch of leaf stains from last fall. Wet leaves on fresh concrete and I now have a whole bunch of leaf shaped stains on the concrete. Pressure washer and some brushing didn't remove them so they're staying. Really not willing to go through a whole thorough cleaning just for that (see my previous comment about being lazy)

Did some budget shelves this weekend. Blocks were $2.00 a piece and i had some. Left over 5 quarter decking from a past project and some wood my buddy sawed from trees that were toppled from Hurricane Michael.
We were supposed to start working on packing up the garage at the old place today...

At least one, and feels like 2, of my problematic/damaged discs in the back have other ideas. Chronic neck and back pain are par for the course as many of you know. But this time there's a noticeable swollen lump near the spine accompanied by the pain that cuts through the meds.
Then I asked the wife to move the yukon a couple feet so I can get to the door. Bad idea.
Tore open a nearly new $300 tire on a brick of all things. Old/highly questionable spare, plus, costco saying a nearest replacement is in Illinois and 3-4 days away.... well, that bodes poorly for moving the firebird this weekend as well as her moving small stuff ahead to the new house ahead of the movers.
Fortunately, our local discount tire manager where I got my pilot sport 4s from for one of the mustangs sold us a 'tire certificate' on the Costco tire then exchanged it under roadhazard. Just picked it back up.
So, garage move is in limbo. Not sure how well the better half can handle packing it up under instruction....
