WHAT DO I DO WITH THE VAPOR CANISTER

So the canister is just a vent? I want to remove mine also so so couldnt I just attach a small air filter like the that from a rear axel to the line and remove the canister?

It also helps to tame the raw gas smell you'd otherwise encounter if it was just an open line or had a filter installed.
