I have the 17x8 Hurst Dazzlers with 245/45/17's at all four corners on the Regal in my sig.
I really like those rims, do they look as good close up?

My tires showed up today. Now I just have to save up for the wheels. Well that and get the body back on the frame. LOL

My dad had 17" centerline scorpions on his Grand Prix back in the 90s when they first came out. Had 275s all around. They were either 40 or 50 series, don't remember. They were the old version of the BFG Sport Comp tire. He got the wheels for basically free, but the backspacing was way off at like 5 1/2 inches. He had to use a spacer to get them to not rub in the back, and they rubbed at full lock on the front. Now they make them in all kinds of sizes.

Hi Christian,

I guess that's a matter of opinion -- haha. For the cost (these wheels didn't break the bank), I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the look great (even close up). They are available in gold and black too. I thought the black color was fitting for the Regal but the gold would look great on a 442 (just my opinion). Also think that the 17" size fits the G-body wheel well arch nicely.

Good to hear, their price is decent. If I bought new rims for my 70S, it would be the gold Hurst or SS1 or SS3 replica's.

What I would really think would be cool on the Regal is to change out the Hurst center caps. I would need to do some homework to see if it's possible first. If it's possible with commercially available parts, I think that tri-shield center caps would look cool.

Mallory, LOVE your wagon! :) Please don't be a stranger. Thinking of 245/45-17s at all four corners on 17x8s. Any recommendations for backspacing/offset? Would 17x8s cause rubbing in the front at full lock?

Right now my Cutlass still has the stock 14x6 rallye's with 245/60/14 BFG's. The fronts rub just barely at full lock. They will be retired once I do the blazer brake upgrade which requires a 15" wheel.... View attachment 80763

I have to get tires for my new wheels. They are American Racing VN501's. 17x7 front will have 225/50/ZR17, and 17x8 rear will have 255/45/ZR17.... View attachment 80764

Holy smokes that looks awesome!!!!!!!!!
Truly inspiring.
