Mine was a 1968 cutlass supreme with a 350 rocket and floor shift holes rusted through the floor but that b*tch was fast that may be why is gone now.

'81 Buick Regal Limited with the powerhouse 3.8 V6...

Got it from my Grandma. She had always planned on giving it to me, but had a stroke a week before I turned 16.
I got the car, and had just started my job at the service station a few months before that, starting to learn the ropes.
I had it for about 2 months. My dad didn't think I was going to do anything with it and donated it to Cars For Courage since he had another newer car that I could use. A few years later he finally admitted what a mistake that was.
The next summer I bought my '84 El Camino. That was the first car I really consider Mine...

First car I bought with my own money was a 59' Ranchero with a hi-po 289 and 3 speed stick shift. Traded it for a 65' BSA 650 motorcycle and I have never owned another Ford.

I Almost had a 65 Malibu, built 350, etc. The guy wanted $4000 for it, it was his dads and he didn't know what to do with it.
My mom wouldn't let me have it, I had the money, but no approval. I ended up with a 97 Cavalier 4 door lol. Man, did that thing take some abuse! Submerged it in a watery road-side ditch once, filled the car with water, it was fine, drove fine, but always smelled a little after that lol. I drove that thing like it was a full size truck. Ironically the only thing that killed it was . . . a full size truck. Got T-Boned and that was the end of it.

Since that I've owned a
86 Cavalier
98 Ford Ranger (awesome truck, wish I still had it)
84 Cutlass (being built)
85 Ford Ranger 4x4 (my current DD, 31" tires and other off road goodies)
Still haven't gotten my trusty ranger stuck! :D BTW Rangers (and ranger based vechicles RBVs) are just as addicting as G-Bodies, once you have one you MUST have another!

Technically I got 2 at once. I took care of my grandma's 2 carsfrom about age 9 on and more or less they became mine.
Her 91 acclaim and the 72 Satellite. I consider the satellite my first car though because I adopted it as my own as a little kid. I always loved it and wanted it and it got all of my attention until the cutlass came along.
Then my first car I bought was the 87 cutlass. $500 at age 13 I was (still am) the proud owner of 3 cars...

The acclaim as it sits now with it's custom from-the-pinstripe-up paint by rustoleum... (Damn 90's cars with peeling paint)

Technically, my first car was my grandfather's 91 Geo Prizm hatch-back. My brother and I shared it when we first got our licenses, since my grandfather was no longer able to drive it. A little over a year later, I bought my 87 GP, and my brother continued to drive the Prizm, until the transmission died. I have daily driven my GP off and on for the past 5 years, usually buying a beater truck for the winter. Those trucks include:
89 F150 4x4. Frame was so rusty, you could put your finger through it
94 S10 Blazer. Also a rusty piece of sh*t. Previous owner had tipped it sideways into a tree, offroading. Had a huge dent over the right rear door...never leaked though.
96 S10 2.2 5speed, 2WD. Lowered it, rollpan, sportier mirrors, etc...Drove it for over a year, until getting T-boned by a plow truck.
Currently driving a 97 S10. 2.2, 5speed, 2WD. No mods as of yet...can't afford anything!

So, with the exception of the F150, I've been a RWD GM man.
