What Was/Is Your First Car?

this is my first, got it when i was 15, didn't look like this! it took until i was 21 to finally get it on the road, my dad does body work so we pretty much just worked on that part, witch was most of the work, when he had time

While it technically wasn't mine, my dad bought a 1980 Datsun 4dr from a coworker for $400 just before I got my license. The guy was going to trade it in on a new Blazer and that's all the dealership would give him so he offered it to my dad. I drove it like a 16 year old and it never let me down. Sold it when I was 17 for $1500 (yes, my dad got the money) to a hesher chick that totalled it shortly after. I can't find pics of it but it was just like this one - only lemon yellow. Not sexy.

Technically, my first car was a '35 Ford pickup. It was my main driver for 7 years until a careless 19 year old girl drove her Neon into it. Allstate (her insurer) owes me about $60k in vehicle damage and hospital bills and blatantly lied in court and paid witnesses to do the same. It was criminal. Even though that was over 10 years ago I clearly haven't let it go :x . It is currently in 1000 pieces in my shop while I collect parts for it's revival.

my first car was a 94 saturn sl1 i bought from my buddys uncle for 1400 bucks. it burned oil, coolant, and gass, but no rubber(unless you count the acc.belt). i wanted to soup it up and make it go fast. then reality hit me that theres nothing out there to make it fast becides an engine swap. so it turned in to a fan boy car and i would "pimp" it $20 at a time from the goofy sh*t sold at auto zone. i beat the sh*t outa it every day, and that why i had to replace the engine, trans, suspention, and soon to replace the worn *ss front seats with some junk yard ones.
my second car is the elky and my 3rd car was a 97 satty i sold for 1900 bucks profit.

1969 VW Bug, nicknamed Hitler's curse! My friends named it that cause it burn my friends butt on our way to a party. The car was slammed on the ground, so it was like driving a popcorn machine. He ended up grounding the rear seat on the battery and the seat caught on fire! No worries, I slammed on the breaks and yanked the seat out in the middle of an intersection. Good times!

my first car was a 94 grand marquis. that i bought for 800. real clean. bought from old guy.
i wired it for speakers put a sony xplod radio and door speakers. and i sold it for 1200

i now have a buick regal 1986 thayt i purchased for 900 it needs too much work for now.
so im selling it for 1200.

i want to now buy a 95 caprice 4.3l or a 83 cutlass. still undecided.

My first car was my 85 Monte - here's what it looked like in 1998 when I bought it:

...second car was a 1984 Monte Carlo SS, which I had for a few years before selling it in favour of a 1993 Saturn SC1, which has recently been replaced by a 1996 SC1.

So nearly 15 years of driving and I've only ever owned two different model cars LOL

1)1999 honda prelude got it for $100 with 436k miles
2)1981 turbo trans am white on white with the recaro pacage...got that with 54k miles for $4000 some old guy didnt want it..was mint
3)1994 buick lesabre -waste of $3000 the trans was goin so i n bomed it racing a mustang gt 2006 beat it with 5 other people in the car with me
4)1984 oldsmobile cutlass supreme 3.8 v6 got it with 46k miles for 1300
5)1987 oldsmobile cutlass supreme brogham- blwe the 307 engine out of it sold it a week later for 1000
6)1987 oldsmobile cutlass supreme got it for $700 out of junk yard still have it till today
7)1986 pontiac trans am-paid $450 for it,floor rotted out of it...damn rust
8)1984 oldsmobile hurst olds- me and my neighbors project car- ttops and lrods original owner 110k miles
9)soon to be my daily driver 1998 plymouth breeze -$50 needs work

Pontiac Fiero, can't even remember the year. Then came a Pontiac Sunbird Turbo, 89 I believe. Next came the Buhog, an 85 LeSabre. I actually bought my 87 Cutlass while I had this car. Paid $3,750 for it with 59,000 miles in mint condition. Sound like a good deal?? After the Buick, I bought a 96 Dodge Ram and right now my daily driver is a 2006 Ram.

As you can see, I've always been a BOP kinda guy. Now that Oldsmobile and Pontiac are toast, I wonder how much longer Buick has???
