i got a new vaccume modulator waiting for me at autozone, the carb is being cleaned and rebuilt. i have the new vaccume hoses for the transmission and for the distributor. its SOOO CLOSE! i wanna drive it sooo bad now. anyone got some tips for me?
well today i got the modulator for the trans and new spark plug wires. my cameras not working right but ill get pics up when i get home. the wires i got came with 9 wires, so i got an extra one for the external coil, anyone want it? the wires are bosch premium wire set, with opti-layer mag wire...whatever that means. but there 90 deg. boots on both ends. the "valvula moduladora" is made in the usa, but doesnt have a company. YAY PARTS!
well today i actually got something s done and off my list. well the list keeps changing but...whatever. so i changed out my vacume modulator:
someone from work told me when i chang it out that transmission fluid SHOULDN'T come out and it did anyway. is that normal?
so then i took off the crank pulleys and the balancer so i could get the timing cover off.
well after i took the timing cover off i realized, i cant get into the garage to get the new timing chain and gears....FUUCK! the reason is its not my garage, its my moms and she was out doing something in indiana with relatives. so she aint comming back tonight. sooo i ended up removing the old gasket and then put it back together until i have access to the garage.
