thanx blaze, at least some one is  ing

well the trans is running great, and the carb will be fine once i get this regulator on and the carb readjusted...i hope... :?

im hoping that wont be needed... 😳

marshmallows don't go well with beer anyway.. 🙂

you have to be proud that transmission is working good, I think your the first guy I know who has rebuilt an auto transmission by himself first time doing it

yeah, good job beer! 😀

thanks pontiacgp and happyface, well the video i bought helped a lot, im good at following instructions, and even tho i had to take it back apart 1/2 way to install some parts i forgot, im glad it turned out good. all my friends had a side bet to see if it would work or not. most of them voting for "not". and the job for tomorrow is finding a 3/8" ntp plug for the one side of the fuel regulator so i can install it, oh and i gotta make a bracket for it too with some scrap steel i had laying around from the shifter i got. eather that or ill have to make a run to the scrap yard and fab one with my dremil tool and my buddys drill. so theres that and then adjusting the carb. so yay!

yay progress! yesterday i mounted the fuel pressure regulator. what i did is i had some extra socket organisers like these:

and i made them into brackets that i attached to the acc. holes in the D/S head and its pritty solid, but what i did was flatten than all the way which in hindsite was a bad idea because it was very shaky. so i had to make a bracket that attached to the regulator bracket and to one of the d/s valve cover bolts. its mounted but i haven't hooked it up to the fuel line yet. im waiting for 1 more part. i need a 3/8" NPT plug but im broke till the 14. yeah its like $4 but four bucks can buy a lot of ramen noodles lol. i also found out why my dash lights was going crazy. i took the guage cluster out and i looked at the printed circut behind the guages and where it connects to the car one of the copper foil tabs was folded up and out of the way. so i folded it back to where its supposed to be and put it back together. well now i have the guage light and the gas guage doesnt move when i put the signal on and everything seems to work the way its supposed to. but i didnt attach the speedo cable correctly so it bounces  thats for another dayl lol. so theres that. yay!

that is some nice ingenuity and alot of dedication....if there was a way I'd get that $4 to ya
