now thats thats done i just gotta hook it up and figure out how to set it. yay progress!

I think I read that you had the Holley Red pump, right? If so you really shouldn't need a regulator. But it won't hurt anything being on there so it doesn't really matter. Just be warned that it may not fix your problem. As for adjusting it, loosen the nut on top and turn the screw with an allen wrench while it's running and watch your pressure. Set it to the pressure you want then lock it down with the nut.

well after changing the spark plugs out and finding that the #7 spark plug was gooped nasty style, and making my buddy eat his words, im thinking that the 2 year old plugs just needed changing. well now that it runs well it should do other things well to, like not leak in the rain, have fuctional brake lights, and have floors without holes, and also not have a birds nest of wireing under the dash. the one main thing i really not wanting to do, but will have to do is re wire the entire trar. in order to do that ill have to pull the dash off and the seats and the carpet. to get the seats out ill have to cut them off the floor, and then the floor which already has holes in it will need to be replaced, so will the carpet and the seats. now thats all well and good if ya got money, time and a place to do this. thats 3 things i dont have. crap... :|

well this year because my elkys running and id like to drive it in the snow, i need my defrost to werk. in order to do that i need 1 new part. heres a pic

if ya look at the bottom of the blower motor you can see the rusty bolt there connected to a cylinder looking thing that has a wire comming out of the left of it and its looks like its missing a wire on the right side. what is that thing? where can i get a replacement? can i just say, f-it and splice a wire in its place? please, HALP!

here's the diagram for your heater system, (A series) is the blower not working cause you have the power wire and ground hooked up. I don't know what those other wires hooked up to the hot feed for the blower motor are..

it looks as if the diagram doesnt have that part in the schmatics, maybe i can just bypass it. hmmm we'll see...

If it's not working get out your test lite and make sure you got power into the resistor and out to the blower motor..and that your fuse is good

im thinking i can get them made to bolt onto my cutouts i already got. that would be SWEEEET! 8)

well today after i get off of werk(7am) imma go and try and fix my fan with what i got. hopefully its not too wet out, cold is fine as long as i dress right. the problem with the heater is when it was hooked up, the blower motor was still blowing even when the car was off, thats another reason i wanna have a battery disconnect switch untill i muster up the balls to take the dash all the way off to get to the tornado of wires under there. back a few years ago when i wanted to make that cylinder keyed master battery disconnect, i wimped out because it cost 30 bucks for a "sample lock" well i think imma do what i put out to do and make that damn disconnect while using the universal one i got from jegs. if i can still find the company.
