today i was gonna do my timing but i needed to get all the crap out from the cubbie hole to get to it and i was lasy so i said ****et. so what i ended up playing with the fuel pump wireing and discovered that it was all rusty and the butt connections were toast, so i ended up splicing it proper and now its good and all of a sudden my car runs like a friggin champ, even did a baby burnout.
ok well i redid the horrible wiring job on the d/s tail light and the brake lights still wont work. i need to replace the valve cover gasket on the p/s and try and figure out what my over heating problem is. im hoping its my timing, but i think its my old *ss water pump. we'll see. anywho, i did get to drive my elky to work today and i got my shift knob adapters in the mail so i can mount my awesome shift knob on the tci fast gate shifter. YaY! oh and to make my brake lights "work" i was turning on the running lights as i stopped and turned them off when i was going. the problem is gonna be the large white wire. i can follow it up to the wiring harnis, but then its under the tape and i lose it from there. im just about to say fuggit and wire it myself, but id like to solve that problem. uggh this is so annoying. :?
