its ok i got 67 bucks today from the old job and bought some allen sockets, brake fluid, c clamp and a turkey baster.

take the fuel line off the carb and plug the line. Start the car till the carb runs out of gas and that will let the needle seat. Then put the fuel line back on and it should be ok. It was probably a piece of dirt preventing the needle from closing and this will clear it.

thanx for the tip! and yeah it was a lil piece of dirt that fudged up the whole thing. fuel filters are a good thing... 😳

well the elky runs and drives fine, but the damn radio kicks off above 25mph and i have no idea why. so theres another wireing debocle. today i think imma make the radio faceplate outta clear acrillic and then drive it around. well see. other things are , uh, oh need valve cover gaskets and get some 3m window strip sealer for the windshield.

today i decided to use the speedo on my gps to see how off the elkys speedo is. its about 5mph slow. so now at 55 mph the engine turns at 3k rpms. yay...

Been a while since I've checked out your build. Had no idea you picked up a 200-4R so I'll have to read through to find that post, but just by glancing at the back two pages I can say I like the CB radio. 8) What kind of range does that thing have?

not sure what the range is on the cb, but its a good antenna. recently i installed an led strip light in the cluster to brighten things up a bit and also replaced the OD switch. i was bored one day and went to my buddys house and took 4 hours to make a radio faceplate. some other things ive done are fixed some electric connections, and broke a lug stud on the rear d/s tire and then realised that the lug studs are a lil loose. whoops! so fixed that and now im broke. now all i need to do is paint the whole damn thing with bedliner and sell it to get to another project.

the other day after scrounging up some change and buying some more fuses i figured out that my radio is some how on the cluster circuit, so i gotta find that and fix it. i also cleaned it out of all the garbage and sorted some stuff out to keep and to sell, and man... i got alot of sh*t! also found some dead mice behind the passenger seat. been thinking about getting a rivit gun and taking out the factory mirror and installing some chrome ones from autozone and putting a plate behind the sheet metal and using some body filler to make the holes flush and then sand and prime and get it ready for bedliner paint job. the problem is im soo broke i cant change my mind, i need to sell some stuff so i can have a life. or get a better job, ether or im pritty much ****ed. $9/hr is not enought to live on and i still live with my dad. so ive been throwing out my app to get an other better paying job. im too smart for this nine buck an hour sh*t...

When I was younger I went from a minimum wage job to a 90 grand a year job with the same company. Lucky? maybe...but I think depending on where you're at, working your way to the top isn't a bad idea sometimes, natural progression say. Can't believe I gave that job up
Anyways, wish you luck whichever way you go, just remember, you can go from shovelling sh*t to winning the Kentucky Derby all depending on how you play the game 8)
