WTF transmission not shifting!?

I'd find one if I were you and read it so you'll know what is right and whats not. I like my manual transmission, if it's broke you know what's busted

I fixed reverse but didn't have time to check the other gears. Leaving to San Diego for half marathon.

Burned up 3rd, so no fourth. Took it out yesterday, being rebuilt....

I thought if a gear was fried it would skip thru that gear to the next gear..

According to my transmission guy, not on the 700r4.

Hope it’s ok to piggy-back on this thread. I have almost the exact same issue with transmission not shifting into any gear at all. I got a project car from a friend and am picking up where he left off, (with most stuff disassembled). It’s an ’81 Buick Regal, 400 small block, Turbo 350 transmission. Following ideas from this thread, I pulled a transmission line off the rad and I get no transmission fluid flowing at all. The fluid level is definitely high enough.

With nothing coming out the transmission cooler lines, is it relatively safe to assume the oil pump is toast?
