My goal is to get as far along with my ls swap as possible. I'm not setting any particular goal because I know things will come up that I don't expect.

Roll bar, 4pt belts, bigger front brakes, convert rear to 12" LS1 disc's, possibly get the instrument cluster fully functional including the speedo.

Wanted to get the 406 and rest of the drive train from the parts car swapped into blue 79 Monte Carlo but....with the current trend in fuel prices the 267 may have to stay for another year.
Thanks Joey!

One thing I plan to do is clean up the wiring in the engine compartment. Run the wires around the outside edges and wrap them to give that clean factory look.
I've been toying with the idea of a dual battery to power the amp, electric fans so I can have a delay and any other power items I may want to install.
Carpet, Bucket seats and floor shifter.
However, if my CFO (the wife) says we've reach the the amount needed for the engine swap then that'll be 2022 as well.
I pay for just about everything I do in full so I owe little to nothing on my car projects. (as stated in my original newbie post)

I should re-name my car to 'A Year Behind' . Reasoning : built it for Drag Week 2020 - Covid BS put an end to that and made it to DW 2021. Thought I'd be in mid 9's by 2021. Turns out I barely made a 9 by 2021. So my 2022 goal of low 9's should assume my 2020 goal of mid 9's. I've thrown caution (and credit card) into the wind, I'm going to get a 9.4_____ no matter what................................................................................I hope hehe ;)

Kidding aside - no resolution needed to do what you want, take care of those around you, be a responsible person, and respectful of all.

Hope everyone's 2022 turn's out as they would like it to - don't be a rider, be a driver and take the f*** charge of your life!!!

My resolution should be to quit constantly looking at cars on marketplace when I don't have the time or the room to take on another project.
