I just purchased the New FAST Ez-Efi for my 1979 Cutlass. I was going to purchase this from Summit Racing to hook up my fuel return. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOR-65385/ But I remembered theres a vapor line going to the tank that I dont use. Could I use this? Is there a check valve in there or something going into the sendor? Will I need an additional vent even if I use a vented gas cap? Let me know what you guys think. I cant wait to get this thing on my car.

If it was me I'd get a fuel tank, sender and intank fuel pump for a Grand National and install everything including the fuel return, the way the factory originally did it.

Thats a good ida but I already bought the FAST kit as a complete kit with their fuel pump, regulator, filter and fuel lines. So I don't feel like buying that.

When I did my tpi install, the 1/4 line was too restrictive and it was sending my fuel pressure up, way above the needed 40psi. So I ran a new 5/16 line back to the tank, drilled a hole in the tank and put a barb fitting directly to the top of the tank.

Well I was going to run braided -6 an line from the regulator to the steel vapor line that comes off the gas tank in the back of the car.

On my 80' malibu, I used this vapor line as a return line while running a holley projection system. There is a brass restrictor in the line and it can be found at the end of the line near the gas tank. I had no problems with this line being too restrictive whatsoever and ran the setup for over a year with no leaks or risk of fire. Finally chucked the projection setup after reading in the manual "For Stock Applications Only" and not being able to run it with a fairly mild camshaft.

Please take lots of pics and let me know how the FAST system works for you. I plan on putting it on my 71' Roadrunner's that has its stock 383/4 speed/AC and just driving the sh*t out of it.

I did the GN tank, sender, pump, and ran a new metal return line. The vapor line is too small and restrictive according to Racetronics that I bought my pump & plug n play setup from. Cheap n easy and quiet. Fed my 509 just fine.

I really dont feel like dropping the tank. which is why I was thinking of using this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOR-65385/ its cheap and easy. I might try my luck with the vapor line first. I'll be running 43lbs of fuel pressure. I will take alot of pictures and what not and post them. My engine has about 525hp or so and this kit is good to 550hp. Hopefully itll handle it. Cant' wait

Maybe the vapor lines are different sizes for different cars. Mine is fairly large and the same size, if not a step bigger, as the inlet steel fuel line.
