Well I've probably got around 50 miles or so on it now. They haven't all gone well lol. I've been fighting a temperature issue that I've finally figured out. Coolant kept disappearing and it liked to get up around 230 for temp. Finally figured it out when I could smell coolant and it was passing right out of one side of the water pump. Got that gasket replaced and it hasn't gotten higher than 160. Started having issues with my starter today. Likes to just spin and not engage. Making progress slowly I guess. Just need to get all the little bugs worked out

Okay guys. How important is a pcv valve? Do I really need it or can I just run 2 breathers? Hooked mine up today and the car seemed a bit off. I'm not sure if maybe it's got a vacuum leak around my barb fitting maybe or what. What do you non ls fellas run?

So may be buying anew ss monte parts car in the near future. Good shape red interior and mint front end. My front clip has some dings and my spoiler is sh*t. Going to try and clean up a small spot of rust in the trunk and then patch the floor where I cut a way to big hole for the heads shifter. Also.managed thereof get the buick home to sit till I figure out what I want to do with it. Here's some pics of a little photo shoot with my buddies turbo 6.0 69 cutlass

Different PCV valves flow different amounts of air and can affect carb tuning. It can take a little experimentation to find the right combination when you are working on a non-stock setup. Two breathers will work but it is not ideal crankcase ventilation.

Well haven't done much lately except blew my clutch line so the cars been down a few days. I've been just driving it and getting some miles on it to shake it down and get any bugs to show themselves before I attempt any real road trips. Seems to bog/hesitate slightly in the lower rpms but runs awesome once you start getting into it. Then once you get over 80mph it starts to maybe spit a little bit and not run so great so I'm not sure what's going on there. Going to order a new clutch line tomorrow and get my trans pulled. I might try and find a t5 to throw back in instead of the 4 speed. We'll see what I can find it guess
