87 Monte build

Got the engine and trans in, got the pedals and clutch master and reservoir mounted. Headers went on beautifully. Need to get an upper radiator hose and trans mount, wire up my externally regulated altinator, wire up the starter and distributor, cut a hole in the floor and mount the shifter, and install the seats and then I can drive it!

Sweet! I'm pretty jealous of the stick shift. Someday hopefully I'll have one myself except with 2 more gears! Looking good man. Keep it up and you'll be driving soon.

Well get on it! Lol. It's been a lot easier than I expected it to be. I had a 5 speed I sold last year and I kick myself in the *ss for getting rid of it

Okay so I finally got it to start! For 2 seconds and I had to shut it right off because the carb is junk and was dumping fuel all over the engine. But I've got another carb, and all the parts I need to get it driving! Also tomorrow is my last day at my old job so I have to finish it if I want to have a shop to use. so I'm going to be there until 2am if I have to. Got a special $45 fitting to go from my clutch master to a 4an hose. Here's hoping I can post a driving video tomorrow!

Good luck man. I hope you get the car on the road without having to stay up till 2AM! I'll be looking for a video tomorrow evening/night.
