How is the car coming at the body shop?
Blah.....still waiting for a '62 cutlass convertible to move out! Should be anyday now really....just waiting on the call that my car is back in the shop! I could've had it assembled by now if it got painted last December or January!

I discussed this with Scott and Brian while they were at my house last weekend. Scott's Cutlass is in paint jail. The problem is the body guy, or painter in this case. Scott and Brian are being extrtmely patient with this guy. It's much worse than your TH350 experience.

True story!!! The only good things from it taking so darn long is me being able to restore all my lights, and paint some things I didn't originally plan on, or would've done if the cutlass got painted last year. I'm going to get ahold of my bodyguy/painter tomorrow and check the status! The work is paid for, he just needs to finish it so I can have my car back!!!!

Hell, maybe if I do a supply relief trip to Florida he will have it back in his shop by the time I return!!!!

His car isn't painted and it's been sitting outside under a tarp all year.
Tarps are car killers!!!!

Well boys I was caught off guard today! I texted my bodyguy to see pics of the other cutlass that kicked mine out....he sends me this back!!!!!

I couldn't friggin believe it! To some it just looks like a cutlass in a garage, but those who have followed along know it's been sitting covered up outside for 10 months after a year of bodywork and being jammed!!!!
Surprisingly, the weather didn't effect it much at all, and he is gonna hit it hard next week. Since the window channels are painted already I'm gonna try to get the front and rear glass in next week. Honestly, shooting for having this thing painted in a month or so unless issues arise!

Here are a couple more pics I took while there. The yellow tape are areas that need to be addressed.....
