Balls deep in the reassembly process. New trans bearings in, new main bearings, new crank, all seals, and piston are put back together. New plastics to be put on soon.

Update: It works! I put a rebuilt compressor on and vacuumed it down for over 3 hours. I'm getting 45° at the ducts with 85° ambient. If it lasts then I got away cheap, and that is my middle name!

3 hr vacuum?! How long did you let it sit?

Got about 5-6 hours worth of pressure washing vinyl siding done, the house and the garage are different colours now. Next I am staining the deck... hopefully finished before the sun sets.

EDIT: Fixed my sun-****ed rambling.

Not long. But I skipped changing the accumulator as it as in a bitchy spot. The system has never been open as far as I know. The compressor failed internally with no loss of pressure and no debris. So as I opened up fittings I stuck duct tape over them to keep out moisture. I worked quick to slip new O-rings on and bolt it all back together as fast as possible. While the system vacuumed down I went about replacing the gazillion things that had to come off just to even SEE the compressor. That is what took hours so I just let it vacuum while I did that. It could only help get any moisture possibly left in there.

Reassembled. Stared it up, no more extra noises from the big end if the rod flopping around. New plastics in place. Rode it for a few minutes, it rips.

Got tired of looking at this light bar and hastily installed it on the mud sl*t.
