Reread my first post.

You can adjust the height of the front of the lid there

The 8mm shank of the bolt goes through a square hole about 15mm across, which allows movement in up/down and fore/aft planes. Loosen ONLY the front bolts if the front to rear and side to side spacing of the lid is good. This will allow you to move the front lip of the lid up without losing the front/back fit

**************** THIS IS IMPORTANT**********************

The bolts only thread into the thin wall of the hinge tubing. Go easy on tightening them, as they will strip if excessive force is used when tightening.

My coupe's previous owner did just that, and I had to open the holes in the hinge and weld in a threaded insert for the bolt to run into. Not a good time.

Wooooooord
Ok
So next problem now

I’ve adjusted and fixed the corners
Now the centre is out a slight bit
Trunk lid being a tad higher than the thin piece under the window
But I’m sure I can loosen that centre bolt and shim it up to match

But now the space between the tail light and the corner is low?....
Maybe have the flex that part to get it up?
Cause I don’t see any other way?

Or am I just being too picky?
Haha

Wellston, OK
Are you talking about the first pic?

You could try loosening the taillamp and aligning it, but bear in mind these were products of the 70s/80s, the fit and finish was nowhere near what we expect today.
