Got my reply today. Theyre recommending these 2 pulleys. OLDS3CR and OLDS2WP-5.6

Do i have a choice? I dont want to put the old stuff back on. I want it to be safe and do it correctly. The current setup isnt exactly either. I need something to make it work

I dont know what i need.....i would prefer not to spend that much....but this is all new to me, i have know idea about what pulleys will work. Didnt think this simple alt project would turn into this.

That is what happens when almost no one makes or sells pulleys for the Olds V8. Mine do look pretty. Any of the billet aluminum pulleys seem to be good quality, even the cheaper severely under driven ones.

Hopefully that is right, you did say you had a 6" water pump, correct?
Ya its a 6" waterpump.. Pulley diameter is about 5 5/8. This is the inner grooves that are up against the block

It sucks. Trying to guess on what works. Luckily theres these forums that help. But what works for 1 car may not work for another....doesnt help my car isnt original. Previous owner says the motor came out of a 1977 98 olds......
