Almost time for some suspension limiters up front then.

I still have the stock springs (nearly 40 years old) and some Edlebrock IAS shocks in the front. I am making a plan to do some coilovers in the front when I install the Blazer brakes and drop spindles.

Was able to get to Showtime Speedway for Wednesday night test and tune.

Footbraked, waste gate boost pressure, 18.5 psi in tires:

PB on 60’ and ET.

Second pass I put pressure on the dome and let it eat:

Pulled the front up a bit, but when it came down I unloaded the suspension and it spun.

Proceeded to lose the belt and had to find it to make it back home!!

Forgot to add: drove with the family there and back 🤣🤣🤣

And they say turbo cars don't have belt problems...

My GP handles surprisingly the same in normal cruising without the front bar. 5660's and comp eng adjustables with 245/45/17.

Congrats on the deep 6's!

Thanks! The data log is a mess actually 🤣🤣

I think I short shifted first-second (by accident) at 6700 rpm and second-third at 7000 rpm

Was the track good?

Any reason why the log was messy?

Track was good. Just didn’t floor it for most of first gear 🤣. Short shifted, newbie stuff without the sway bar lol
