Talked to the tuner tonight I'm in for my new tunes tomorrow night. The new crossmember bushings came in to so maybe this weekend for that. I still need to look under one of these trucks of approximately the same vintage and drivetrain to see what's missing or not missing from the transmission crossmember. I'm sure gm didn't shim up the mount with washers so I need to see what belongs there and get or make it. After that it's change out the rear driveshaft that the diesel shop destroyed and I'll be done with this for a while. Then back on the Camaro and I've got a plan for that to.
Are you able to get a driving tune in with the current driveshaft, or is there no need for that.

Ya know, seeing how the truck is lifted, someone may have shimmed with washers to get the proper driveline angle. Instead of worrying about what stock was, I'd just verify your driveline angles. I think Tremec had a free phone app to use to check it.

Put the Cub back together and polished the scuffs off of it. I disassembled the headlight and cleaned the dirt out of it so it is clear and reflective again.

I pulled the plug, it looked like new. Checked the compression while it was out. I'd say it's healthy.

I mowed the lawn with it, the deck needs leveled in a bad way but it worked fine otherwise. It takes longer than using my 3000 Series but the deck is a lot smaller (38" vs. 54") so that is expected. The nice thing is that it fits a lot of places that the 3000 won't so it makes for less string trimmer work. It also has a floating deck vs the 3000's rolling deck so it doesn't get hung up on curbs and sidewalk edges.

Yeah it's just got a vibration

I think what happened is when the diesel shop had it apart they lost a part and put the washers instead. In fact it was one of the things they briefly discussed with me on the phone when they had it so they are paying for the driveshaft and the missing part. I can't leave the load of the trans and transfer case on washers it will eventually caus metal fatigue to the cross member towing.
