Those are some options:
Return o Summit...costs you more money
Order a set of 2 inch drop springs and return the 1 inch drop springs.....costs you even more money.
Cut the springs......Was a complete waste to buy the set your have since you could have cut your factory springs and never had this problem and your wallet would have more money in it.
So far every option their great customer service offered you costs you more money or you wasted your money.
Well you are right, I should probably be getting a new set of springs at no additional cost to me. But those could be bad too.
I didn't expect the car to be any lower with 1" springs and actually I can't go very low with an LS truck oil pan. I just wanted it to ride better
My issue is the stock springs are crap. I feel like I'm riding on marshmallows. If I cut down the UMI springs I should have a better ride quality, but I could be wrong. This option I don't spend any more money and I don't have to put the stock springs back in.
Hopefully by you commenting on here UMI will see that there are a few more than they're aware of. The worst thing is people that don't say anything when they have a problem with a product. When you and I and anyone else with a similar problem lets them know. They should really crack down on their manufacturer and QC.If not, their customers will go elsewhere. When I talked with them, I got the feeling they were concerned and would be checking their process for issues, which I considered good customer service. I hope they do follow through a sort this out for future customers.
