Perusing around the Silver Sport Transmission website and happened upon this:

Might find one cheaper, but at least they're available.
2023 Frog Follies. I promote this show whenever I can. It's ran by a local car club and worked by volunteers from various groups(4H club, ball teams, etc.), they donate proceeds to local charities, and it's an all around well ran show. Pre-'49 street rods, any year car corral and swap meet...
I know-first world problems here- We have an inground pool (from 1998) that was here when we bought the house in 2007. We replaced the liner in 2008, and It is in need of a new vinyl liner. That is in motion, but we want to refurbish the aluminum(?) coping around the edges prior to the install...
This popped up on Facebook ad. Really low miles, so it should be really clean, but really? $36,000? To whom are they hoping to sell this?

Just wondering if you guys have opinions on which is better? The Yukon looks maybe a little more robust for $11 more.
Registration is open for regular Joe’s. Locations are Atlanta Motor Speedway, SC state fairgrounds, Rockingham Speedway, Zmax Dragway, and Bristol Motor Speedway, June 12-16. I registered last night.
I have two rally gauge clusters, both junkyard finds over the years. Not worried about authenticity/year matching for appearance sake. Ignoring obvious shifter indicator or printed circuit board issues, which would be most appropriate for my 79 Cutlass? I currently have the long sweep speedo...
Took a little road trip last weekend to the C10 truck show. Drove our '97 4Runner so it could be my RV for the night. Cool show, drag races on Friday night, autocross both days, burnout contest Saturday. 1000-1500 trucks?
That's a good sign.

Best car show in Southern Indiana in my opinion. Pre-'49 car show. Any year swap meet, cars for sale, crafts for the ladies, vendors, etc. Usually 3500-4000 or so Street Rods. Nice clean, calm, family friendly event. No $6 cokes or other outrageously priced concessions. No alcohol sales as far...
Since it comes up every now and then, I thought I would share this article from April 2022 Hot Rod magazine.

Soooo.... confession time. My Cutlass dash brake light came on one day in November 2021, no leaks or fluid loss, so I assumed the four year old "remanufactured" O'Reilly master cylinder (part #10-1738) had taken a crap. Replaced M/C, tried to bleed brakes but had no fluid coming from rear...
A close friend of mine has a 1971 442, red with pearl/white interior, owned since 75-76, repainted in 92-93(?), still unfinished since then, maybe 90% done, sitting on jack stands in his garage.
He ordered some white PUI interior door panels somewhere around 1998-2000, and was sent the wrong...
My wife, stepson, and I went with some friends to Bowling Green, KY for a football game at WKU a couple of weeks ago. It is just down the street from Holley headquarters, so I had to stop for a photo. Don't mind the krautmobile, we're a diversity and inclusion home. (MINI-1, Toyota-2, Cutlass-1...
Happened upon this chart on Ridetech website

If I'm looking at it right, a lower (.500) ratio car can run the same spring as one with a higher (.750) ratio, and have a lower spring rate at the wheel. So a G body (at .595) needs more...
Found another hole to throw money down. 2005 MINI Cooper S, 63k miles, automatic, 1.6L supercharged engine. CEL is on, some cosmetic issues, but runs strong, straight and rust free. Upside-drives like a go kart. Downside-rides like a go kart.
Will this work for HEI ignition module heat sink compound ? It is both thermally and electrically conductive so I know I can't go overdo it due to potential arcing...
