Alright...so i noticed on my voltage gauge that it never gets above 12v...not a real problem in itself. But I have a brand new DieHArd Gold, brand new 120 Amp alternator, and when i measure the voltage I get---> 12.9 volts battery at rest, not hooked up-----14.39 volts at battery engine idling...

What would i have to do to remove the ECU off of my 81 231? Building a custom car and right now i can't exactly afford to upgrade the motor to the Olds 350 that i eventually will have. I'm not even sure what all the computer controls.

So i have 2 Cutty's..86 Salon 307 and 81 Brougham with 231. The 231 has a TH350 bolted up to it and the 307 has a 200Metric. Would it be better to swap them or would it even matter? Both motors are bone stock
