1978 Malibu Project, 4th times a charm

Been a little while but the new job, customer projects, and disdain for the internet has kept me from posting.

Decided that I would need extra room under the hood so I grabbed a AMD cowl hood from Summit, love having those guys local, it got body worked along with the trunk lid, they are on their last blocking now.

Bought a complete 4.8 and a spare 5.3 bottom end for cheap, they wait in the wings.

Also bought this running and driving 1976 Porsche 911 and flipped it a week later.

Sold my 1973 truck to a buddy for his custom furniture business.

Then I bought this. 2000 Saleen S281SC with 59K miles, Kenne Bell supercharged, intercooled, Tremec 6 speed, CCW wheels, and 477whp.

All cool stuff. Glad to see you still around. Thanks for posting. Yeah, much of the internet sucks but this place is pretty awesome.

Glad to see you back brother!

Good to see you back...was wondering this weekend how you were making out on it.

If you get a chance, could you post a side profile pic of the hood? Curious to see if it's smoother-flowing than the Goodmark, which looks like more of a wedge to me

I like giving Mustang guys grief, but that model Saleen is honestly one of my favorites and the distinct whine that a KB blower makes is awesome!

Buddy and I also did a couple cars for a client

AMG Mercedes

Paint correction

All chrome wrapped in gloss black vinyl, everything mobbed out including emblems, repaint front and rear bumpers, tinted tails.

And a CTS-V

All chrome wrappped or painted in matte grey metallic with custom matched powdercoat on wheels, all interior wood wrapped with 3m di noc, repaint front and rear bumpers as well as drivers door, carbon fiber front splitter, blue calipers, tinted tails, and paint correction.

First Mustang I have owned and I can see why people like them, it drives great but 477whp is a little much for the street, it has no problem spinning the 335's. It's a really clean car that needed some detail work and paint correction, buddy and I joke that it's never been to Cars N Coffee because it hasn't been wrecked. 😊 And I love the whine at WOT, reminds me of Mad Max.
