What headers did you use for the big block?
I don't recall what they are for, It's been so long and it was my dad's car when the motor went in. But they are hooker long tubes with 2" primaries and 3.5" collectors. They barely fit with a little bit of grinder massaging.

Once the babies start showing up, I may have to swap all the cool stuff into a malibu wagon

Good to see someone else building an Elk to turn corners... i think I'm asking Santa for Cragar Soft 8's for Christmas. A cheap way for me to get into modern rubber and away from 14's...

That's awesome. I learned to drive in a 6 cyl/3 speed malibu.
