Cool build.

Local guy has a 4 door Fairmont with turbo 5.3....I think he's in the high 8's now at 150+ Beige 4door sleeper for sure.

In the second photo, what is/are the differences in the axles we are looking at?

In case you were unaware - do a wild burnout the 1st time out with those. I'm running the same tires and they work great, but the 1st 3 runs I made were as close to a waste of time as I can mention due to the tires weren't remotely sticky. A friend told me about it while I was running and, WOW, what a difference - absolute night and day.

When are you planning to get back to the track (looks like you're getting close)?

Good info!

Next test and tune at Bradenton is Dec 10th so that’s the goal. I was shooting for Cleetus and Cars but the axles showed up that day.

Next issue is the driveshaft: it’s too long with the new third member due to its beefier case. So I already dropped it off at the driveshaft shop this AM.

I have a built (1000 whp capable) TH400 in the garage with trans brake and billet goodness, but I want to see what it will do on the current TH400 (foot brake/two step).

I was talking to Duke this morning and didn’t realize how fast you where going! I need to be close to that. 10s street car has a great ring to it.

Thanks, but I was a little pissed that I got chucked on the first hit. I dropped my 60 by a half second on the next run and I was ready to add another 5 degrees up top and that would’ve put it in the 9’s. I really, really , REALLY wanted one before I put it down for the season. But......

So you’re our inspiration for the winter (Florida) - get ‘r done. I’ll be back in 3-4 months. I’m going to bet that you’ll find out what 135-140 feels like at 700+ hp pushing - it’s a strange feeling in a 40 year old car - ‘Grocery Getter’

I’ve gone faster on the highway gently cruising in something much, much newer. Turning the wheel at 120+ to keep it straight is an invigorating feeling.

Please keep us posted :)
