1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Sedan LS Turbo Build

How about option C) Return the Holley Terminator system ($ 999 ouch! 😵 ) and buy the 302-2 pan that you really need to do the job right. It's just me but when the factory ECM's work so well, are plentiful and cheap I don't understand why anyone would use anything else....Especially at $999

I have a full truck harness/ECU/fuse block when I got the motor. Mathematically I am saving money with the Holley:

Holley Terminator: $900 with $100 off coupon from Summit. I can tune myself, wire and monitor 90% of the things I want. Can use stock speedometer and gas gauge. Win for me.
Truck harness/ECU: Rewire harness (costs time which I value my time @ $$$, $400), gauges (Tach, A/F, oil pressure, fuel pressure, water temperature, etc etc, easily $600, buy HP Tuners, $400 or pay someone to tune $$.

$1400 > $900

Either way, I need the pan

If you value your time @ $$$ you would be ahead just getting the holley pan, motor mounts and crossmember. I used the truck pan in mine and had to screw around getting the drive angle right. The stock pcm works just fine and doesn't take that long to rewire the harness. You can get all the stock gauges to work with pcm except speedo.

I have purchased the CTSV pan (truck did not work as I had hoped).

My 83 Cutlass has just the simple speedometer/odo/gas gauge cluster (with dummy lights, below) so there are no gauges to attach to the stock PCM.

So are you running a 4l60e behind this or a 4l80e , if you used the th400 you could get your sped o to work still cable driven, otherwise have to go to like a newer dash cluster

Using the TH400. But trying to figure out the cable. The size of the speedometer input for the TH400 is bigger than Cutlass output.

Is there an adapter I need to use a TH400 in the Cutlass for the speedometer to work?
