GroceryGetter83 would it have been possible to have the return feed a little higher?
It will work, you just need a 90° instead of a straight....I think any higher and it won't drain back from the turbo. Usually people drain to the pan, but I thought this would work.

Is that a weld on 90° or a screw in?It will work, you just need a 90° instead of a straight....
Weld on. I can't take credit though. I bought an ICT billet one. If one drain is good, two must be better, 😏....Is that a weld on 90° or a screw in?
Ok thanks I need to try and find just the fittingWeld on. I can't take credit though. I bought an ICT billet one. If one drain is good, two must be better, 😏....
Did you already tap that cover to pipe thread?
If you did you can get a -8 (or whatever size that is) to 3/8 NPT 90
OR, get a -8 to ORB (o ring boss) 90 which has straight cut threads and an o ring with a nut to adjust o ring squeeze. That allows you to put the fitting where ever you want and tighten the o ring. They are used in industrial hydraulics and are good to 2000+PSI so they are good here for return for sure.
