The turbo cover upgrade wasn’t a needed modification, but a sort of an impromptu change. I figured it couldn’t hurt anything, besides my wallet slightly.
Collectively we are all learning from each other, which is a major part of posting on this forum.
Thankfully I have lots of passes on the set up and street miles (2k+) so I should be able to sense any difference quickly.
I’ll be adding a back pressure sensor shortly for data collection and understanding where I am with the turbo limit.
My new goal for the car is to get into the 8s. After I get the suspension and cage installed, the turbo will likely be my limiting factor.
