I did purchase, but did not use. When I found the PS pulley was misaligned with the straight edge, I fixed that. I returned the flex plate holder.
How did you torque balancer ? I thought you had mentioned that your bolt had loosened?
I have one. Works as expected.
How big of a big of a pipe on a 12 ratchet/breaker bar did you use?

Didn't you buy the tool to lock the flex plate via the starter bolt holes - to use for tightening the balancer bolt?

How did it work out?
I have the Kent -Moore (GM) version. There's nothing like having the right tool for the job.

Throw the TTY bolt in the trash and replace with ARP. Torque with a standard Torque Wrench, in the car.

The balancer bolt came out a few months ago. I got a new GM bolt (probably should have gone ARP) and had the wifey hold a breaker bar on the flex plate while I torqued the bolt down. Wasn't pretty, but it worked.

I had Natasha hanging off her Camaro's exhaust pipe last week while I tightened the clamp... I couldn't convince her to keep tension on it while I put a few tack welds in place.

My son used to help me with the pry bar program through the flexplate while I was putting a bend on the 'ole crapsman breaker bar with 4' of pipe. This last time (he's moved 5 states away) I had some Gerry'd up program that involved 3 sets of vice grips and a couple of pieces of angle iron between the flexplate and floor. I told my wife that if I didn't come back in the house in 15 minutes, then she probably should call an ambulance.

p.s. - I don't think she'd call an ambulance until I missed breakfast on Saturday morning.

My program is 110v 12a impact until it stops moving. Reused TTY bolt, whichever one looks the best in my used oem bolt collection, to seat pulley. Then replace with new OEM bolt, 8 ugga duggas.

I have an ARP bolt, I think ill put it in eventually.

Took for a quick spin; I rolled into the throttle to collect data. Closed loop correction was 25-27% in some spots 😅
