What fans? Can you control two fans separately? Don't get stuck on the idea of having two fans of the same size.

There's a recent thread about fans, I referenced a Flex-a-lite that is a kick *ss unit.
I’m going to use the Flex-a-lite fans I just bought, but transfer them to this shroud. Has the controller and everything. I just didn’t like that way they sat on the rad.

Can’t beat $9 for the baking sheet 🤣

Still trying to get the fans sorted out; didn’t like the flexalite fans on the new triple pass rad: starting over again.

It was finally less than 100*F in the garage today, so I was able to do a little work:

This sexy thing arrived:

Put my first MIG welds together! Not perfect but will do!

Going to remove the shocks to finish weld the crossbar. 👌🏻

Overhead, upside down welding was certainly harder than I expected:

Certainly has some ugly spots but it’s burned in enough to do the job I think.

Agree on the upside down welding. Makes me really appreciate some that can donut well enough to not be able to tell that’s what they were doing.

Nice work. That should make a difference.

Yeah I still struggle with some welding up side down pointing the gun up sometimes it helps to raise the argon pressure slightly

Out of position TIG is my new nightmare. Suspending a puddle of molten metal in relative tension is a tenuous proposition.

Function over form!
Typically this would be killing my perfectionism, but damn I couldn’t do much better giving the space issues.

Paint and I’ll rarely have to look at it again!

I had the flow at 30 cfh, but I can try more next time. Thanks!
