Headed up to Orlando Speed World (OSW) last weekend, for a test and tune.

Was only able to make one complete pass; spun on the first attempt.

Pooched the 1-2 shift; 6 month cob webs!

Got home, and noticed the rear LCA angle:

Not ideal.

These will help!

What is ideal? Or I'll ask, what are you targeting for upper and lower angles? Is your instant center location the target with the upper and lowers, or.......?

Curious of your shock/strut settings also. FWIW, wingnutks gave me shock recommendations that were dang close after I supplied him with upper and lower angles. I truly have no idea how the angles/instant center and shock settings correlate, but he must haha.

p.s. glad to see it's getting back to normal post hurricane.

Flat on the bottom bar is not ideal for me. Once I get everything put in, I'll measure and try to get at least 125% AS out of the car.

What does AS stand for?

100%, the LCA has to point up or it's spin/wheel hop city.

I wish I could find the document that calls out where the % squat or anti squat number comes from. I get it's some distance above/below the center of gravity to the tire line but how the calculator gets from 3" above that line to 115% or whatever never made sense to me.

I preface this response with I don't know what is best.

From reading and discussion, I've taken that the car setup has to aim for squat and plant, or no squat. And then design you car's suspension to handle whichever way you target.

I'm eagerly following your progress Chris.

Hindsight being 20/20, I’ve always had to pull a decent amount timing to get the car to leave. And only launch on 4-5 psi.

Should be able to bump that up with some proper rear angles set. 👌🏻
