1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Sedan LS Turbo Build

What brand was the old radiator? Cause of failure?
Old rad was $129 eBay special. New fans wore a hole in it; had it too close. 😬

That's a bummer. I asked because we had a bad experience with a Griffin and I was wondering if you'd just had the same.

I wish I didn't have any experience with rubbing a hole through a radiator. It's irksome to say the least.

Piecing together fans and shrouds can be more time consuming than it appears it should be to get proper clearance between components.

Yes this will take some time to correct, but hopefully its the last time I need to deal with it 😀

It’s going to fit pretty damn well…

One size smaller fans than you think will fit. Trust me. Lol

Also, you can cut out some slots and put rubber or something over as flaps for more air flow when cruising at speed. If needed.

What fans? Can you control two fans separately? Don't get stuck on the idea of having two fans of the same size.

There's a recent thread about fans, I referenced a Flex-a-lite that is a kick *ss unit.
