Look up KevinWilsonSBC on youtube. He goes into great depths about setting up anti-squat and your instant center.

I've watched his stuff a bunch lately. Hence why I knew I had an issue!!

I’ve literally been falling asleep with my headphones on cause the wife is tired of hearing his voice! 🤣
He has me rethinking my car as whole.

Thanks for the lead on this guy. Just watched a couple of his vids. It got me measuring and thinking about why your car is so much different than mine. I think it's shorter tires and and your car is so much lower. I'm at 'stock' height with a stock style replacement spring with a 28" tire. I can't say the actual percent of AS, but I'm over 100% and less than 120%., but closer to 100. That is mostly due to my upper arm angle from the 8.8 truss bar setup (I think). I guess I kinda lucked out with where it landed. Well probably less luck than I think, SSM indicated that the bar kit makes the IC very favorable, by design, but I've never paid much attention to it.

I'd love to see you get this in 1.3 60'., or better. I didn't realize that you've been cutting timing at 4psi on the hit to get it going, geessh that's a little window to hit.

So in order to do all the fab work I’m planning, I need to remove the rear end. Well, I found some things.

Axles studs seem to be bent, on both sides 😑

Certainly not good. Maybe some wheel hop got me.

I forgot how heavy this damn thing is:

Chunky bois are heavy compared to the TRZ piece:

Might have to use these 5/8” stud holes sooner than I thought 😒

Ditto on the bent studs. I know that feeling.

Do you have 1/2-20?

I bent my m12's last month. One guy I know who runs a ~4100lb mid 9 sec '70 GP said he gets 2 years out of his 1/2-20 and replaces them as a wear item. He has similar power/weight so not surprising for you.

I tossed some 5/8" in my GP.

1/2" studs are appearing to have become consumables on this page 🙁

Acorn style nuts Chris?

I believe these 1/2-20” from Quick Performance. Hopefully I can replace them and get it back together sooner.

Screw in or press in? I can't tell in the pics.

Either way, you can get new ones from them or get some ARP's, and neither require the axle to come out.

I think I'm going to order a set - I don't want to be like you and Jake ( 🙂 )

God dam! Bending studs is a revolutionary idea in my mind, didn't know that was a thing. That's some serious traction and power going on there. Some day I'll be in that category. 😌
