The fill plug - that is the 711 ‘Big Gulp’ of fill plugs. Is that sold as a rearend fill plug? Where did you find it?

Thanks for your response. Just curious if the tub requires any surgery, or if the inner edge is even with the narrowed frame rail now.
The narrowed frame rail is about 3/4” deeper than the wheel tub. A little use of the Tonya Harding would move it out of the way pretty easily.
