1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham

A little late now, but those front body mounts were accessible. Sorry that I wasn't paying attention at the time you had the liners out.

I have no idea why anyone would cut them, galvanic corrosion? Good thing you have the old motor, it helps align the motor and trans.

Actually, both these body mounts were replaced, but there's one in the rear that was "non replaceable"

Probably due to lazyness, because I was able to tap a 1/4-20 hole and pull out the half-dowel easily... 🫠

Really interested on how it drives. With your couple of upgrades over stock, it should perform quite nicely. Who would guessed, especially with the huge numbers from factory V8's the last few years that a Turbo V6 would be the new norm.

Engine bolted, that was painful to get the right alignment. Next step, trans to engine, two floor jacks will make this easy (yeah right).

I hope to drive the car SOON to witness this myself... My current ETA is... 1.5 week!

POS transmission mount was broken, so I replaced it, that will help lineup things!! The stud was spinning freely, a PITA.
