Mikes Montes ships internationally. Here's the body mount bolt kit. Looks to me like he ships to you....

Header bolts....

Summit racing will ship to you. Those are the header bolts I'm using. I recommend the remflex gaskets....

Thanks so much for your help, the parts arrived yesterday and I tried fitting the headers with the low profile bolts, everything works fine, but not a millimeter to spare ! hehe

I also got the body mount bolts, now I just need to finish the rust repairs so I can reattach the body to the frame soon!

Another small issue, the crows in the neighborhood must've stolen my oil dipstick! So where would I go about finding a correct length dipstick for my engine? It is a 350 after all but I imagine I must get the correct dipstick for the oil pan which this engine has in it, which must be a G body oil pan? I don't know...! please help :)

How about this one?

I'm not crazy about the rust on the handle but it looks like it will clean up to me. Stay away from after-market replacement dip sticks. Usually the quality is poor. The seller above doesn't list Iceland but is shipping to a lot of places internationally so I think he will ship to you. Otherwise, I would put a listing for it in the wanted section on here or cantact Mike at Mike's Montes. He does sell used parts.

Shouldn't worry too mush for finding another dipstick. If you need a tube & stick you can go with a B body one. Years back the tube on the old 305 broke & was only able to get a B body. Cleared the headers alittle better & seemed longer in lenth on the handle send but still read the same.

Some progress on the passenger side..

1.jpg

Flinstone rear floor

2.jpg

It is evident in this photo that the rustproofing guy on the assembly line was probably on his phone doing facebook or something... he missed half the part ! the rest is bare metal hehe no wonder this thing rusty
3.jpg

Full flinestone floor

4.jpg

New floor being readied
5.jpg

A cutout of the floor repair section fitted, fits great
6.jpg

Partially welded in at this time, more welding on the underside
7.jpg

Pretty good and strong again, some more repairs will be made to the near-rocker side of the floor but that will wait for now..!
8.jpg

Floor primered and seat brackets back in
9.jpg

This thing works good but it's not cheap, and I need a lot of it ! hehe
10.jpg

ohh the butchery... I wish I could make this look better but hey, it will preserve the metalwork and welding from the horrendous conditions on my roads for some more years.. thats all I care about really, with some paint and undercoating on top this will look factory almost !

If you could get hold of those guys who race buggies up sand dunes and across lakes in Iceland, I wouldn't be surprised if they had spare dipsticks lying around from old engine builds....
