For a street car that you use to go take the kids for ice cream and maybe half a dozen full throttle blasts a month?

With clean fluid and a proper TV cable set-up, it'll last for years.

If you're gonna drag race every weekend- no, it needs some decent parts put in it.

I have a CK Performance and a Extreme Automatics TH2004R both stage 2's, pricey but worth it...

My son has a CK Performance Stage 2 as well that also has the upgraded billet input shaft - his motor is about 800+hp - no complaints for a daily driver that runs low 10's on a street tire. Every two years (15k-20k miles) we go through it because the clutches will be getting worn- costs about $800.

For your 450 crank hp motor, an upgraded 10 vane pump, shift kit, GN servo, upgraded forward drum and sunshell will get it done. But you need to find a knowledgeable builder and setup the TV correctly.

Good luck - Jim.
