I picked up this 02 Tahoe from a friend back in 2021. It was sitting since 2015, or so, with seized calipers in the rear and pretty much zero brake lines. I was originally looking at it as an engine donor for my Malibu, but when I looked at it, I saw it was way too nice to cut up.
Unfortunately my friend lost the title. So I went with him to get a new one, but I hit a snag. , The dmv was showing a lien on it, even though it was long paid off. At this point I had already done the brake lines, so I stopped there. I waited a while for the paperwork to clear so I could get a title. Finally a couple months back I got it.
So I went through and cleaned it all up, and made sure everything works, and have been trying to convince my wife to take it over her 2011 Acura RDX.
I probably went overboard on this truck, for what it’s worth, but I don’t like to sell stuff if it’s not right. Makes me bad as a “flipper”.
Edit: first and last pics are the day I took it home.

I forgot to add, that I failed to talk the wife into keeping it. The Tahoe is for sale. I have someone coming to look at it tomorrow.
I always wanted a Tahoe, and I really like this one. But my Sierra I bought new, and it has too much sentimental value to me, plus I need a pickup, so the Tahoe has to go.

Hope it sells for you to fund one of the projects. What did you list it at?

I’ve got an 04 Southern unit, same color, that I have to do something with. I want to keep it, but how many do I need?

I’ve always wanted one, and I really only like gm trucks up to this body style. Unfortunately my wife doesn’t share my feelings, so it has to go.

Find another 'problem' with it you need to fix before selling, take forever doing it because of 'supply chain issues' influencing getting said part, wait for the rice burner to break, then let her drive this for a while while that waits for parts.

Maybe she will like it.
