4.1 v6 to buick 350 build (about time) lol

OHH by the way I picked up some 70 heads from a jeep wagooner 🙂 in the shop as we speak!

Couple things, it is worth getting a set of hooker part number 1103hkr. My intent was to take the headers which I purchased new and dice and cut them up for prototype use. The damn things fit like a glove.....No sense making what already fits so get these when you put the headers on. Put them on after the engine is in the car. Follow my thread about the fitment. It is much easier if you get the mini starter from gbody parts for 119$ it makes the starter much less in the range of the header. As for the AC i am with you I am keeping mine as well, and the Cruise. I have so many look in the engine bay and say, you have cruise and ac!!!!??? It's funny. You need to get the accessories from the 3.8 to bolt right up.

Do yourself a favor and spend the money to get those 70 heads ported and larger valves. I wish i would have done it. I am puling serious torque and decent HP, I bet I would be at nearly 400hp if I had the heads performance done.

Nice tip on the headers!

I always wondered if they would fit. This is gonna be a big help.

Yea Im planning to keep the cruise too. Thanks for the tips on the headers. I will call the shop first thing Monday morning and see about porting the heads.

The 4.1 will be up for sale more likely than not. Still in great shape runs like new just a tad over 80k now and has been maintaned ever since its been in my hands.

Well do let me know once you decide to sell it. I'd be interested for sure.
 
I am interested in your 4.1 V6. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and looking for a rebuildable engine for my 84 Regal T-type. Do you have the block casting #? Will pay top $$ for the right engine.

The choke/oil dummy lit up ended up being bare wires going to the oil sending plug which blew a fuse...Fixed that issue.. Then the engine light came on after a lot of scratching my head it was the O2 sensor being unplugged. All of these issues after getting my engine refreshed...too hot to do anything in PHX without a garage so just been buying things here and there for this winter when I have a place to have the homie Mel come over and start tearing things apart. Anyways no real updates besides I just scored some NOS hubcap centers since I decided to go sleeper.
