Not much progress to show but just been collecting parts and cleaning...
200r4 crossmember thanks to crazy'boutOlds great seller 🙂
Just showing what some dollar store knock off CLR and a harbor freight 12 dollar drill can do lol Taking off rust nicely and quickly...keeping me busy lol all in about 5 minutes time..
I would build up a th350, th400, maybe even a 700-R4 myself but a 200-4R I would have a proven pro do. I have seen many hi performance attempts done by regular & performance transmissions shops done over the years that failed miserably. Behind a mild motor ok but behind something stout find someone who has a track record of success in building a 200-4R for behind something stout. Just a heads up. Best of luck on whatever you decide.
Awesum!! I'm really looking forward to seeing updates as I plan on doin this too! Are you planning on using stock valve covers? Are you goin to retain the a/c? I've heard of people with and without clearance issues between the pass side cover and airbox.
